I have 10+ years of math tutoring/teaching, both in school settings, and private settings. I am very experienced at finding skill gaps, and explaining difficult concepts in a way the student will understand. I believe in making true, measured, meaningful progress. I believe in doing a short comprehensive assessment in order to find the skill gaps that may be making a concept difficult. A typical lesson may involve practicing skills to make a difficult concept easier. Also, focus on homework and test preparation. I will ask questions to lead the student to finding the solution, rather than lecturing them to the solution
