About Julius
I am a recent Mathematics graduate who has previously helped younger university students with their understanding of Mathematics. While in my second and final year, I helped first year students bridge the gap between A Levels and degree level Mathematics by allowing them to use me as a point of contact when they were stuck. I met with them regularly in the library and helped as much as I could to break things down for them.
I am keen on tutoring A Level Maths and GSCE but if degree students need my help I am willing to try my best to help them achieve. I would prefer to tutor A Level Maths because when I was doing my A Levels I found my favourite subject, Maths, very difficult. My teacher didn't believe that I could get an A as I had got a C in my AS Level but I worked hard and I got the UMS to get an A* but I didn't average an A* in my A2 Maths modules, which left me with an A and I am proud of my efforts. I hope and pray that I can help others achieve what I have done and better.

My method of teaching would start with me identifying where one is struggling by assessing them with practice tests. These tests will help me understand the level that my student is at. I would then start to break down each area by teaching the formulas and methods to use to attempt questions. Following this I would encourage students to try out questions and when they are competent I would give them exam style questions.
