About Khaid
I am a Pricing Analyst at Bell Canada with a degree in Finance, passionate about quantitative analysis and computer programming. While in university I tutored students in Econometrics and Financial Derivatives for three years and I was the TA for Game Theory during my final year. Throughout University I took online python courses and developed an intermediate proficiency in the language. I now use python to automate many tasks in my day to day work such as webscraping competitor sites for phone prices in order to feed this information into pricing models.

Have you just recently mastered Excel and are now looking to expand your computer proficiencies? This class is for people new to python that want to begin automating tasks to give them a competitive edge at work or on their resumes (new graduates, high school / post secondary students, accountants, quantitative researchers etc. I will be using a project based approach to teaching providing students with written and video material to guide them through an understanding of the object oriented language python from the basics. By the end of this course you should be able to scrape any website for information and present it in a csv file as well as have an intermediate understanding of the python programming language.
