About Julia
Hello, I’m Julia — a creative and caring tutor who loves helping children find joy and confidence in reading and writing. My background as both an illustrator and educator allows me to bring storytelling, imagination, and visual thinking into my lessons, making learning meaningful and fun. I’ve always been passionate about language and creativity, and I teach because I believe every child deserves to feel capable, inspired, and proud of their progress. Seeing that spark of understanding — when a story connects or a sentence flows just right — is what makes teaching so rewarding for me. **My Approach to Tutoring** I believe that every child learns best when they feel supported, confident, and engaged. My lessons are designed to make English enjoyable and accessible, helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, and speaking while developing a lasting love for language. **Qualifications and Experience** I have extensive experience supporting primary-aged students in English literacy and language development, including English as an Additional Language (EAL). My background in education and the creative arts allows me to bring imagination and visual learning into every lesson.
