About Katelyn
Hello! I'm Katelyn, a passionate educator with experience teaching in primary school classrooms. I discovered a passion for one-on-one teaching in the classroom. I enjoyed developing deeper connections with my students and understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals on a more personal level. I aim to utilise the experiences I have gained as a classroom teacher and apply those insights and practices to provide more personalised tutoring lessons. My approach to tutoring will utilise my classroom knowledge to ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed. I do this by personalising their learning and tailoring each lesson to accommodate their individual learning style, pace, and goals. I will make learning fun and engaging through interactive activities, discussions, and real-life examples, fostering deeper understanding.
My tutoring sessions will typically range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and are tailored to all students aged between 5 and 12 years. My lessons can cover all key learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Art, Humanities and Social Sciences.
