About Lauren
I have always loved helping people. This inspired me to become a teacher- a journey I started in 2016. I graduated in 2019 and have loved spending time in my classroom, helping students to understand new concepts.
I have spent most of my short career teaching children aged 9 - 11; however, I am currently taking a step back from full time education and working as a supply teacher. This allows me to focus on the best parts of teaching and has also given me the opportunity to work with students outside of school hours. Giving them the confidence in their own abilities that sometimes can't be fostered in the fast-paced classroom environment.

I have been teaching for 5 years and use a calm and conscientious approach when teaching and revisiting topics. With the majority of my career being spent in UKS2 (Year 5 & 6), I am familiar with the National Curriculum (Primary), 11+ and SATS prep. I enjoy working with children with a variety of needs and can adapt my teaching to suit your child.
My aim is to make learning as fun as possible and would recommend sessions no longer than 1 hour in order to have the best impact.
