About Ahlem
I am a 19 year old female tutor who is patient and invested in the progress of my students. I am confident in my ability to create a positive and effective learning experience tailored to your child's needs.
I graduated from Birrong Girls High School in 2022 with a raw ATAR of 87.55. I have been accepted to study Speech Pathology at ACU and have deferred the course at the moment.

I am a dedicated tutor with experience who will be able to help your child grapple with difficult concepts and foster a greater understanding of materials taught at school through thoughtfully curated lessons to target problem areas in a way children will be responsive to. Lessons may vary depending on the length requested by parents. (options: 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour lessons). I can provide tutoring at a local library or the student's home.
Intro (approx. 10 mins)
Discuss and asses the student's current understanding, strengths, and areas of challenge.
Goal setting (approx. 5-15 mins)
Let the child know what content we will cover in the session and allow any questions to answered.
Interactive explanation of content (approx 30 mins)
Choose a concept relevant to the student's current curriculum.
Introduce the concept through a relatable real-world scenario.
Engage the student with thought-provoking questions to encourage critical thinking.
Break (approx. 5-15 mins)
Time for the child to process the information and refresh themselves or grab a snack.
Independent trial of content (approx. 20 mins)
Let the child have a go at using the new content to answer related questions.
If the child is stuck, assistance will be providing and they will be encouraged to try again.
Review (approx. 20 mins)
Link this weeks learning to relevant concepts in future lessons we will come across.
