About Katy
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a degree in sociology and a masters in special educational needs and inclusive education.
I am a dedicated teacher who has taught in both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. I also have first hand experience of teaching children with special educational needs, as well as children with English as an additional language (EAL) and can adapt my teaching to meet their needs. Whether your child needs help with getting their head around the curriculum or SATs I can certainly help with that. Through my teaching experience I have taught all the core subjects; phonics, reading, maths and English. I am currently teaching in a primary school in Stockwell meaning I have firsthand experience of the ever changing curriculum.
I live in Brockley, South East London and can offer both online and in person tutoring.

My teaching method can very for each individual child. No one child is the same and therefore it is fundamental for me to understand what type of learning helps them. Some children are kinaesthetic learners whilst others are more visual so it is vital that I find this out early on.
