About Rebecca
I am passionate about raising confidence in learning, not just raising grades. Therefore, I talk a lot about metacognition and understand the importance of a calm environment when learning. I truly believe that anyone can learn it just requires adaptive teaching and the responsibility lies on the teacher to build professional relationships with their students that results in a learning environment that fosters positive learning environments and growth mindset. I use research led techniques that result in high expectations just as teachers in mainstream and SEND classrooms do. I will personalise lessons to meet your needs and can provide adaptive teaching. I am studying my masters in education and PGCE qualification to achieve QTS (qualified teaching standard in the UK) Lessons last 45 minutes and often follow the structure of teacher modelling, collaborative learning and independent tasks.
