About Kiana
Hello, my name is Kiana. I have worked in schools in different capacities from coaching, paraeducating, and secretarial. I enjoy working with students in areas that can be frustrating such as math and be a support system while my students are gaining not only the knowledge needed but also the confidence to tackle something they may struggle with. I try to have patience throughout the process as I know learning new things can be difficult and take time.

The teaching techniques I use are specific for each student. I have worked with a google classroom making lesson plans, practice sheets, practice tests, etc. to make the learning experience as fun as possible rather than just obtaining answers. I set apart from other tutors as I do not have one plan that fits all but instead want to build a relationship/report with my students making them customized material that fits their learning style and ability.
