About Isabella
I began learning the piano in Kindergarten and the clarinet in Year 5 and have loved it ever since. Over the past seven years, I’ve performed extensively, including as 1st desk clarinet in numerous school ensembles and as a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra. I recently completed my AMuSA exam, and I’m passionate about sharing my skills and experience with others. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I teach all levels from complete beginners through to AMEB Grade 8, focusing on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for music.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you’re picking up the clarinet for the first time or polishing your skills for an exam or performance. For beginners, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation in tone production, embouchure, finger technique, and reading music. Intermediate and advanced students can expect more in-depth work on articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and expression, as well as preparation for AMEB exams, school performances, or auditions. I incorporate music theory into lessons to strengthen understanding and help students become confident, well-rounded musicians. I’m passionate about making lessons engaging and enjoyable, so you’ll leave each session feeling motivated and inspired to keep practising.
Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute formats, either in-person in the Eastern Suburbs or online via Zoom.
