About Alyona

Alyona is a Russian actress with a background in classical piano. She completed her acting training of the NIDA BFA in 2021. She has always enjoyed the great works of Shakespeare, Chekhov, Pinter, and Hare, but halfway through her training discovered a real love and knack for comedy as well. Alyona is acting on stage, on screen, and does voice-over work. She has recently recorded the audiobook 'Daughters of the Fatherland' by Jericho J Johnson. Her other recent credits include; Annie in 'In The Next Room' (New Theatre), Maria-Anna Mozart in the new documentary 'Mozart's Sister' (produced by Media Stockade), Agnes in 'Nothing' (National Theatre of Parramatta), Sherlock Holmes in 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' (Genesian Theatre), etc.

About the lesson

A NIDA BFA Acting graduate, Alyona is now a professional actor working in the industry, and a drama tutor who teaches at NIDA Open and has a private mentoring studio. She is trained and teaches in many acting methods including: - Stanislavski - View Points - Lessac - Classical Acting - Mask and Clowning Whatever your needs are, be it preparing for an audition, learning a monologue, deciphering Shakespeare, auditioning for drama schools, or wanting to speak with more confidence. All ages and experiences welcome!
