About Tom
I am passionate about making music, and have been a cellist for over 8 years.
I was awarded the LMusA diploma in 2020, and have been a member of the Queensland Youth Symphony (QYS) since 2019. In addition to playing in QYS, I have also played in the Queensland Youth Orchestras (QYO) Chamber Orchestra, which went on tour in 2019 and 2023, performing to schools and local communities in North and South-East Queensland.

My teaching is to the individual student, and what they want to work towards. A typical lesson may consist of warmup technical exercises, for example, scales or a study, a movement from a Bach suite, and then the main piece(s) which the student is working on.
