About Jake
I've been a music lover since I can remember. Picking up the guitar at age 8, I fell in love with the challenge and learned classical guitar until year 12. Beyond schooling, I then branched into all styles of guitar as well as recording and production.
For the last 5 years I have made music my professional career, teaching and freelancing from studios across Melbourne and Perth.
I value student creativity, expression and using music as a tool for inspiration, not a chore. Guitar lessons with me involve a true, mentor style relationship where I support you in your long term goals and be a friend on top of a teacher!
