About Katalina

Katalina has tutored students with diagnosed (and undiagnosed) learning disorders and other learning needs.

Katalina is Orton-Gillingham and MSL trained. She uses the Barton Reading and Spelling program to ensure student progress and success.

With three years experience as a specialised literacy practitioner in a private organisation for students with dyslexia and two years experience as a teacher aide and an intervention tutor in a primary school, she is well versed at providing personalised and tailored lessons to students.

With over four years of tutoring students with low levels of literacy from primary and high school, I have experience teaching students with dyslexia, ADHD and ASD.

I ensure students are engaged and progressing!

I follow the Barton Reading and Spelling program, an evidence-based approach that fills in the gaps of missing knowledge.

I have worked in private organisations and public schools, having thorough experience at delivering personalised and tailored lessons. My approach is perfect for students with low levels of literacy looking for quick but steady progression.
