Hello, I’m Lin, nice to meet you! To briefly introduce myself... I'm a native Chinese speaker. I have a master's degree from the University of Maryland in the United States and have worked there for three years. Currently, I am a product manager at a well-known company in China. I love the culture of countries all over the world and often consider myself a world citizen. I am eager to help more people understand Chinese and the 5000-year-old Chinese civilization. And this is also the reason that made me step into this industry.
In my spare time,I love hiking and playing badminton. I also enjoy music, reading, and thinking.

I have 3 years of experience teaching Mandarin and have helped several American friends learn the language and understand Chinese culture.
My class is open to both adults and children. The teaching content includes pinyin, oral Mandarin, reading and writing in Mandarin, and business Chinese as well. Tell me your preference and I will develop customized syllabus JUST FOR YOU to help you learn effectively and happily in a stress-free environment.
I advocate for joyful teaching because language learning without interest is difficult to sustain. I don't teach a cookie-cutter Chinese course. I tailor my curriculum to each student's individual needs and preferences.
At the beginning of each lesson, I will conduct Chinese conversation using knowledge we learned before.During class, I encourage students to ask questions at any time, and I provide personalized answers. After class, I summarize important knowledge points and send notes to students for review. More importantly, I will provide free office hours, so that students is able to contact me anytime if they have questions outside of class.
