About Sherif
Sherif Hamdy is a multidisciplinary media professional and artist with more than two decades of experience as an actor, writer, producer, and director across Egypt, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. Throughout his career, he has built a diverse body of work spanning film, television, theater, radio, advertising, and digital media.
As an actor and filmmaker, Sherif has participated in 15 film projects, including both feature and short films, working in different production environments and creative cultures. His television experience includes 18 projects ranging from TV series to comedy shows, where he contributed both in front of and behind the camera. In addition to his work in film and television, he has appeared in more than 30 commercial campaigns, collaborating with international brands and production companies.
Sherif also has a strong background in live performance. He performed in three professional theater productions, which helped shape his acting foundation and deepen his understanding of stage performance and audience engagement.
Beyond acting, Sherif has extensive experience in media production and broadcasting. He worked for three years at an English-language FM radio station in Egypt, where he developed skills in broadcasting, content creation, and audience communication.
In the digital space, Sherif has written, produced, directed, and presented more than 60 hours of online content, demonstrating his ability to create engaging multimedia material for modern audiences. His work reflects a combination of artistic creativity and professional production expertise, making him a versatile storyteller capable of working across different formats and international markets.

My approach to teaching acting focuses on creating a supportive and practical environment where students can explore their creativity while developing real performance skills. I believe acting requires both talent and technique, so my classes help students understand how to use their body, voice, emotions, and imagination to perform truthfully and confidently.
My teaching methodology combines elements of Stanislavski, Method Acting, and Meisner techniques, adapted to each student’s level. Classes focus on practical exercises such as scene study, improvisation, character analysis, emotional work, and on-camera performance, with clear feedback to help students improve.
Each lesson typically lasts about 60 minutes and usually includes a short warm-up followed by exercises or scene work designed to build confidence and acting technique.
I bring more than 25 years of professional experience in film, television, theater, and advertising across Egypt, the United States, and the UAE, which allows me to guide students using real industry knowledge.
My lessons are designed for students aged 15 and above, and are suitable for beginners, amateurs, and professionals who want to develop their acting skills or prepare for auditions and on-camera work.
