About Amanda
I have 8 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Science in Mathematics Education. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners of different academic backgrounds, helping them strengthen algebraic reasoning through supportive mentorship, structured lessons, and personalized guidance. I enjoy helping students transform uncertainty into confidence through consistent encouragement and practical learning experiences.
One learner struggled with solving algebraic equations involving consecutive odd and even numbers because translating word problems into mathematical expressions often seemed difficult. Students receive comprehensive instruction in algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, graphing, linear and quadratic functions, polynomial operations, rational expressions, radicals, exponent rules, logarithmic relationships, systems of equations, sequences, algebraic identities, coordinate methods, and mathematical modeling. Lessons combine conceptual explanations, guided demonstrations, visual learning activities, collaborative discussions, structured exercises, independent practice, and reflective problem-solving. Students regularly explain their reasoning, evaluate multiple solving strategies, and identify mathematical relationships that improve conceptual understanding and long-term retention.
