About Jake
I am a passionate and dedicated Maths tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine love for helping students succeed. Through my experience working as a secondary Maths teacher as well as in the corporate world, I draw on a strong range of communication skills that allow me to pitch ideas and information at the appropriate level, and I enjoy the challenge of helping students master material they once struggled with. I offer tutoring online and in-person for students who are local (I am based in Haywards Heath). By breaking topics down into clear, understandable steps I ensure students are not overwhelmed by new or complex material, and are well prepared to tackle a range of problems relating to that topic. Whether you’re preparing for exams, aiming to stretch and challenge high achievers, or simply looking to develop your skills and gain confidence in the subject, I adapt to suit your needs - always with patience and encouragement.
