About Alan
My football journey started back in Ireland and like most kids my dream was to play professionally, after a lot of hard work and dedication I was signed by Everton FC in England when I was 13 to a 6-year contract signing a 3-year pro at 17 and was in the senior squad for the 06-07 season.
I played at Youth level for Ireland from U-13 level to U-20 and have over 40 youth international cap's. From my early teens to my early twenties, I was coached by some top coaches and learnt a lot training with Everton's first team at a time when Tim Cahill was there. I have played in the NPL Victoria for a number of clubs including South Melbourne, Dandenong Thunder and most recently captaining Port Melbourne Sharks.
I have held coaching roles at every club I have played for and coached teams in the junior NPL system since 2014 and have also coached for numerous academies and schools working alongside some great football figures including Jesper Olsen and Mehmet Durakovic.

My training sessions incorporate as much time on the ball as possible with a big focus on technical skills that are specifically designed for the position that the player plays in.
