About Maja
Hello! My name is Maja, and I am a professional artist and designer with a degree in Applied Arts and Design and many years of creative experience. I have worked in fine art, graphic design, web design, and conservation and restoration, combining traditional artistic techniques with modern creative tools.
I enjoy working with children and believe that every child has creative potential. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can develop their artistic skills, build confidence, and enjoy the process of creating art. I am patient, supportive, and tailor each lesson to the student's age, interests, and learning style.
Whether your child is picking up a pencil for the first time or wants to improve their drawing and painting skills, I would be happy to help them grow as a young artist.

My teaching approach is based on creativity and building confidence. I believe that every child has artistic potential, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their imagination while developing real artistic skills.
My lessons combine traditional drawing and painting techniques with creative exercises that encourage children to observe, experiment, and express themselves. I focus not only on the final artwork but also on the learning process — helping students understand shapes, proportions, colors, composition, textures, and different artistic techniques.
Each lesson is adapted to the child's age, interests, experience level, and personal goals. Beginners will learn the fundamentals step by step, while students with more experience can develop their own style and improve their existing skills.
A typical lesson may include:
A short introduction and discussion about the project or technique we will explore
Warm-up exercises to improve observation and creativity
Demonstration of drawing or painting techniques
Guided practice with individual support and feedback
Time for students to develop their own ideas and creativity
Review of the artwork and discussion about what they learned
Students will explore different topics such as drawing techniques, color mixing, painting methods, composition, and creative expression.
