About Dan
I have always loved art! I worked my way through college, employed by the college I was attending as a design artist. Upon graduation, I took jobs working for agencies and major print producers, eventually opening my own art and photographic studios where we created and produced everything from murals, brochures, signs, banners to print media to product renderings to trade show exhibits. It was a magical time and our company rose to the ten percentile in the nation.
Now retired from the commercial scene, I have the luxury of doing art for pleasure and have experienced great fulfillment in teaching the principles of good art to those willing to learn. Most of my students do it for fun, but some want to pursue an art career. Both types of students at any level are welcome!

I specialize in teaching beginning to intermediate students. I spent many years training professional artists as well as teaching art and design at the high school and college levels, but I really enjoy teaching those willing to learn in person, 1 on 1.
I take each student from where they are and use a blended approach (classic/custom) to deliver the greatest artistic benefits to each one.
All students 14 and up are welcome!
