About Joseph
Although I am an experienced tutor, and a high school teacher, I am a student who is constantly learning about my profession, and my own pursuits. I understand what it is like to struggle to understand a concept, and I know that having someone who is an expert in a subject, does not necessarily make them an expert in explaining the subject to others. I break down concepts, support students to feel able to make mistakes and achieve their best. I have been tutoring for so long, and wanted to become a teacher, because I love to help.

Drawing on both my extensive tutoring experience, professional classroom expertise and knowledge, and my studies in education, I provide up-to-date content, presented in a warm, supportive, and structured way. Lessons are typically an hour, but can be longer if required. I am registered with the Queensland College of Teachers, am an actively practicing teacher in Queensland high schools, and hold a Masters of Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Japanese and International Relations).
