About Emma
I am a 24-year-old retired ballet dancer with 10 years of teaching experience and 8 years of professional work experience. I have danced with Miami City Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Ballett Dortmund in corps de ballet, soloist, and principal roles. I am a fun and firm teacher who likes to focus on the details of each movement that will set students apart from the crowd. Though I have stepped away from the stage, I still have a passion for ballet and teaching ballet that I hope will inspire future generations of young dancers to continue and inspire adult or developed dancers to keep pushing for more.

I am an ex-professional ballet dancer with 10 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about detailed technique work, engaging the correct muscles for each exercise, and most of all facilitating freedom of the upper body to channel the quality of the music. I have a background in Balanchine, Vaganova, and Cecchetti technique with many years of performance experience as corps de ballet, soloist, and principal roles in neoclassical, modern, contemporary, and classical choreography. Above all, I love to help students find joy through movement.

Emma has an incredible teaching style, paying attention to the smallest nuances which makes all the difference. Her career as a professional dancer, along with years of teaching the little ones during her training, gives her a vast experience in helping all levels of ballet dancers achieve their goals. Highly recommend. She also teaches a ballet blend Pilates class that is phenomenal.
