About Matereti
A Professional Boxer from 1980-1995 holding a South Pacific Title (Middle Weight) I was born in Fiji and became interested in Boxing at the age of 16 and became an amateur boxer, but at the age of 20 I decided to become a Professional Boxer and travel the world. Now that I am too old to get in the ring, I hope to spread my training skills to people that are seriously interested in Boxing as a sport, fitness and Self Defense.

I base my classes on:
Fitness training, Strength and conditioning, pad work, self defense and safety. Hands will be wrapped when gloves are on at all times. My classes are not to train people how to street fight but to get fit in all aspects of Boxing training which includes a good Cardio workout. Boxing is a different type of cardio than you’re probably used to, so it’s fair to assume that even if you work out a lot, it’s going to leave you seriously out of breath.
