About Tirtha

I'm a Professional Chess Trainer and Mentor, Playing chess for the last 14 years all over the country. I've played lots of international FIDE-rated chess tournaments with success. I've been in the field of teaching for the previous 10 years having a FIDE rating of 1771 (Peak rating - 1836, Feb 2018). Currently, I'm working with Zugzwang International Chess School Pvt. Ltd. (India's 1st Fluid Intelligence School), Bangalore & PCA Chess Academy, Hyderabad as a Chess Trainer & Mentor. Throughout my Chess Career, Some Of My Notable Achievements are - 1. 2nd Runner Up At Delhi Prasavanth International Chess Championship In B Category, 2018 2. Champion At 1st Balasore (Odisha) All India Below 1800 Chess Championship 2015 3. 2nd Runner Up At All India Delhi Below 1800 Chess Championship, 2014 4. 2nd Runner Up At 1st Dhenkanal (Odisha) Below 1800 All India Chess Championship, 2014 5. Gold Medalist in Below 1800 Rating Category, in SDDM Cup 2014 6. Top 10 holder in Many Classical Tournaments All Over India 7. Rapid winner in West Bengal, India

About the lesson

METHODOLOGY : My teaching method is based on fundamental principles, proper techniques, and simple and right guidelines. The first and foremost thing is the excellent bonding between a teacher and a student. That's why I treat my students very politely and user-friendly. Thinking is the key to chess. That's why I always keep my students busy by giving them positional and tactical problems and analyzing masters games, and other materials. Hence my students increase their strength in all phases (opening, middle game, and endgame) in chess.
