About Nikola Anna

Chess has been a central part of my life since I was seven years old. In my youth I became U18 national champion and had the opportunity to take part in several world chess championships. In 2017 I cracked the 2100 Elo mark and received the title of woman FIDE master. A special highlight of my career was participating in the 2022 Chess Olympiad in India and other international tournaments for the Austrian national team.

My most significant achievements include victories against two grandmasters in classical games, which are also a testament to the hard work and passion I have invested in my chess development.

As a qualified C-level trainer, it is now my goal to pass on my enthusiasm for chess. I strive to support my students individually, develop their skills and accompany them on their journey, and also to be a role model for a few young girls.

About the lesson

I have been offering chess training for over six years, primarily for children and beginners, but also for experienced players up to an Elo rating of 2000. My main concern is to share my deep passion for chess and to support students in continuously improving their skills.

To achieve this goal, I cover a wide range of chess content. This includes basic opening structures, strategic principles, calculation training and endgame problems. We design the focus of the learning units according to individual needs. An essential part of my approach is the analysis of your own games and training games, which promotes a deep understanding of the game and at the same time enables practical experience.

The personalization of lessons is at the heart of my method, based on the wishes and goals of each student. I am also happy to provide support in creating an individual training plan and in selecting suitable openings.

Available in both German and English, my training is aimed at students of all levels. Through a combination of specialist knowledge, individually tailored lessons and insights into chess psychology, I strive to support each student in their development in the best possible way.
