About Jack
I am a professional composer working across concert, film and television, and a First Class Honours graduate of the Royal College of Music. My work includes regular collaborations with publishers Matonizz and Fennell Production, production music for UK and US television, and orchestration on major media projects such as the ITV drama Grace.
Alongside my professional practice, I have several years’ experience supporting students across a wide range of levels, from GCSE and A-Level candidates to ABRSM theory students, developing composers and adult learners. Students have achieved strong examination results and progressed to study music at leading universities and conservatoires.
My background combines conservatoire training with ongoing professional work, bringing both strong musical foundations and current industry experience into my lessons.

My teaching focuses on demystifying music and developing clear technical understanding grounded in practical application. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and structured to build strong foundations in theory, composition, and analysis.
Sessions are offered in a variety of lengths, though 45 minutes and above is recommended to allow time to develop technique, analyse material, and apply ideas creatively. I have worked with developing composers, GCSE and A-Level students, ABRSM theory candidates, and adult learners. Students have achieved excellent examination results and progressed to study music at leading universities and conservatoires.
A graduate of the Royal College of Music, I also work professionally as a composer across concert, film, and television, bringing real-world musical experience into every lesson.
