Methodology

I am currently conducting a PhD Research for Music at the Griffith University. I have recently relocated from Hamburg, Germany back to Australia. I have over 10 years of piano teaching experience with students from the age of 4 to the age of 60 +.

Lessons can be conducted in three categories: 30 min, 45 min and 60 min.

Background

I am a concert pianist currently conducting my PhD Research for the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane, Australia.

I have been teaching the piano for over 10 years both privately and for secondary and tertiary level institutes in Australia, China and Germany.

Roger Cui is a Chinese-Born- Australian concert pianist with a wide variety of repertoire ranging from all styles of Western Classical to Chinese traditional music for keyboard. In 2013 he completed his Masters Degree at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. Since 2018 Roger divides his work between Hamburg Germany and Brisbane Australia, and represents Yamaha Music Europe. Mentors include Prof. Kalle Randalu, Prof. Arie Vardi, Prof. Ilja Scheps, Prof. Yablonsky, Prof. Olga Yablonskaya, Prof. Tomas Vasmas, Prof. Dina Yoffe, Prof. Stepan Simonian, Prof. Gerard Willems, Senior Lecturer Natasha Vlassenko, Prof. Dr. Stephen Emmerson.
