About Sophia
Started dancing in ballet, jazz and contemporary at the age of 6 to then start training full-time by age of 15. I have travelled to the UK, South Korea and Hong Kong through scholarships and received valuable training at the Royal Ballet School, Rambert School of Ballet, and many more. I have also competed in competitions such as Showcase, Asian Grand Prix and Youth American Grand Prix where I came in 3rd place. I have received offers from Central Ballet School, Victorian Ballet School, Village Dance, Joffrey Ballet School and more before accepting my scholarship at Ministry of Dance to wide my dance knowledge and train while receiving my Diploma of Dance and Dance Teaching Management degreeCert IV

My lessons will cater to your individual needs. I have a student who I coach in technique and overall confidence also managing their anxiety when it comes to class and others who do competition coaching and choreography lessons. If you’re a beginner, then don’t worry! I’m very patient and as long as you love it then you can learn in a positive environment. If you’re wanting more extra 1v1 attention then we can work on your weaknesses as I’m very attentive and detail oriented! Competition season coming up? I’ve been competing at competitions from ages 10-17 so I got you too!
