About Samuel
Hi, I'm Samuel, a professional drummer with over 18 years of playing and performance experience. I started my journey as a church drummer in 2006 and have since gone on to perform more than 500 live shows across Bangladesh, Australia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Nepal.
I have performed with one of Bangladesh's most recognized rock bands and currently play with Dads in the Park and We See Moons. Throughout my career, I have shared festival line-ups with internationally renowned artists including Slipknot, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Saosin, We The Kings, Stand Atlantic and Tiny Moving Parts. Some highlights include performing at Hammersonic Festival 2023 in Indonesia and Mayday Festival 2024 in Singapore.
Beyond performing, I am passionate about helping other drummers grow. Whether you're picking up sticks for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I enjoy sharing the knowledge, lessons and experiences I have gained throughout nearly two decades behind the kit. My goal is to help students become confident, musical and expressive drummers while enjoying the learning process.

My lessons are personalised to each student's skill level, goals and musical interests. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced drummer looking to improve specific areas of your playing, lessons are designed to help you progress at a comfortable pace while still challenging you to grow.
Each lesson begins with a recap of previous materials before moving on to new concepts and techniques. Once a new skill is introduced, we apply it to real songs so you can understand how it works in a musical setting. We also spend time discussing any challenges you're facing, along with practical tips, tricks, and exercises to help strengthen your technique, coordination, timing, and overall musicianship.
I teach a wide range of styles including rock, alternative, worship, metal, pop, reggae, blues and funk. Beginners are especially welcome. I enjoy helping new drummers build a strong foundation and avoid many of the common mistakes and frustrations I experienced when I first started learning the instrument.
