About Ruxx

With over a decade of downhill skateboard racing and over two years of pro level electric skateboard racing experience, I understand what is needed to succeed from the very start to the finish. I have placed on several podiums at races for both disciplines at over a dozen of events. I have skated at speeds of excess of 55MPH. I have worked in the customer service industry for over seven years, which also includes working at a boardshop and as an electric skateboard tech. I have executed many protocols for safe passage for many skaters as a friend on open roads as well as a volunteered corner marshall at sanctioned events. I have a degree in business in addition to my CPR, OSHA 10, and DOT certifications. I have taught all ages on techniques to improve safety, maneuverability, and speed.

About the lesson

If your desire is to learn for the very first time or to improve on your current skill set, I am here to help you get what you need.

I can teach you how to ride a skateboard, push, turn, carve, foot brake, slide, and tuck. I will be able to point you in the right direction, demonstrate proper technique in real time, and identify your strengths as well as areas that may need improvement.

In addition, I can also identify the correct gear & equipment for your discipline of skating. Many times it can be overwhelming to know what you need and how to use it. I will be able to sort all of that out for you so you can have peace of mind by focusing on only the parts you need to. Skateboarding is all about having fun and what better way to have fun when somebody has your back!

Skateboarding is known to be dangerous and this is why I take many extra steps to be safe. I will provide equipment and gear if you do not have your own. My aim is to give you the tools to not only improve, but also skate another day.
