About Frances

I am an acting/drama and accent coach, film producer and occasional thespian. Registered with Equity, Spotlight and IMDb. Full DBS cert. I trained with National Youth Theatre and then studied at the University of the Arts, London. I love to act, but have a passion to teach even more so. I have taught some workshops for drama schools and acting agents, but now do 1-2-1 sessions.

About the lesson

I coach and help develop actors to prepare for roles and auditions. For audition help, my lessons can be tailored for live in-person auditions and self-tape auditions too. I help actors to see things that they were previously unaware of in a constructive and enthusiastic way. Offering advice and mentorship to enable all actors to improve their acting and dramatic performances, preparing for auditions and preparing better for roles. I help with accents such as RP, Scouse, Cockney, Australian, Russian, American dialects, Irish and more. I offer lessons based from my home studio, Zoom or will travel to you.

I have known Fran (Frances) for some considerable time and am well acquainted with her versatility as an actress. She has appeared in features produced and directed by colleagues of mine and I have cast her in two upcoming productions. Fran is always reliable, dependable and will go the extra mile to ensure she delivers the perfect performance whether that is in front of the camera or behind it mentoring other actors. Tim Purcell - Screenwriter and Independent Producer in the UK and Mauritius.

Frances was friendly, professional and so enthusiastic.
She has really helped me with a recent audition for an indie film, leading role and I got the part.
I suffer from nerves badly , often feel like a drink before auditions - this is why I wanted some help even more so than the regular actor and Frances never judges, together we developed my confidence, she broke the audition into segments and honed in on my weaknesses in a constructive way and my strengths in an encouraging and complimentary way which gave me positive encouragement, also she helped me with strengthening a Southern American accent needed for the part . Helps that Frances has a lot of acting and production experience.
I am working towards breaking into tv next, hoping my hobby and passion will become more sustainable one day, and will try to book Frances again every couple of months.
Frances also has helped me with some agency contacts. Thank you.
