About Maaike

My name is Maaike. I am a licensed English teacher and an amateur adventurer. I love meeting new people and discovering other cultures. I have traveled a lot. I worked in tourism as a tour guide, receptionist,... Who knows, I may have been to your country?
I have been teaching NT2 (Dutch for non-native speakers) since October 2022. Language is essential to connect people from different countries and with different backgrounds. It's the foundation of every conversation and to understand one another. I enjoy hearing about culture differences and love finding simularities between various cultures. Let's connect more with the world around us!

About the lesson

My native language is Dutch and I teach NT2 lessons professionally. Together we will look at what you need and work on that.

Who can take lessons with me?
- Beginners: you don't know any Dutch or a little. We start at your level. Vocabulary, basic grammar and beginning conversation.
- Advanced: you already have a basic knowledge of Dutch, but want to improve it. You want to practice grammar, pronunciation or spontaneous speaking.
- Experts: you already know Dutch well, but you want to become a super expert. We find out together what your interests are.
- Business Dutch: learn Dutch specifically for your job.

The tutoring is tailor-made for you. We work towards the final goals and use your strengths to achieve that.

Perfect! Maaike parle le Néerlandais comme langue maternelle, ce qui est parfait pour apprendre la langue à travers des discussions avec elle. Les cours sont agréables et conformes à mes attentes. Pédagogie au top pour progresser grâce à des retours sur les fautes de languages que je fais, ainsi que des suggestions pour améliorer la qualité de mon Néerlandais.

She is a beautiful soul that has an amazing way of challenging you kindly and lovingly without judgment as to the “why” of your ways, your habits, your actions and your thoughts.
