About Svetlana
I’m a professional illustrator and designer with over 15 years of freelance experience, working with international clients on illustration, fashion, editorial, and commercial projects.
My background combines traditional drawing/painting, esp. watercolors, and design with digital tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate. Fashion illustration has always been one of my favorite areas because it brings together drawing, design, color, personality, and individual style.
Over the years, I’ve worked with clients from different countries and cultures, particularly in the US, and I bring that real-world professional experience into my lessons.
I’m passionate about creativity that feels personal rather than formulaic. I believe technical skills are important, but the most interesting work happens when you develop the confidence to make those skills your own.

My lessons are tailored to your individual level, interests, and creative goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience, we can work on fashion illustration, digital art, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, composition, color, and developing your own personal style.
I believe in learning through real creative projects rather than rigid exercises. We can start with a sketch, reference, or idea and develop it together into a finished illustration. I’ll demonstrate techniques, guide you through the process, and give you practical, constructive feedback along the way.
For students interested in professional development, I can also help with portfolio building and presentation, drawing on my experience working as a professional illustrator and designer for international clients.
My goal is not to teach you to draw exactly like me, but to help you become better at drawing like you.
