I believe that anyone can learn to draw when complex anatomy and perspective are broken down into simple, manageable shapes.
As a professional illustrator and comic artist, my goal is to strip away the frustration of the blank page. I combine classical drawing fundamentals with industry-proven techniques used in modern comic book production.
My methodology relies heavily on interactive, visual learning. Instead of just watching me draw, you will actively sketch alongside me. I use a "demonstrate and practice" rhythm, providing real-time feedback on your line work, proportions, and composition. Whether you work with traditional pencil and ink or digital software like Clip Studio Paint, Procreate and Photoshop, I adapt my tools to match your preferred medium.
Each session is structured to maximize your hands-on drawing time while introducing core artistic concepts:
00:00 – 00:10 | Warm-Up & Review: We start with quick dynamic sketching exercises to loosen up your hand. We will briefly look over any artwork you practiced between sessions to track your progress.
00:10 – 00:30 | Core Concept Breakdown: Introduction of the day’s main topic (e.g., drawing dynamic action poses, mastering facial expressions, or building perspective grids). I will demonstrate the concept live, step-by-step.
00:30 – 00:55 | Guided Practice & Creation: You put the concept into action. You will work on your own illustration or comic panel while I guide your lines, correct anatomy mistakes, and help you refine your style.
00:55 – 01:00 | Wrap-Up & Creative Roadmap: We summarize what you learned and set a fun, low-pressure project for you to practice before our next meeting.
