About Dara
I pride myself on my curiosity and I take that seriously in my job as a news producer but also as a person. I started out as a substitute teacher in Fairfax County, VA teaching all grade levels as I completed my master's. From there I was a writer for a major paper writing about real estate, history, education, foreign affairs and believe it or not... obituaries. I now took those skills to work in digital media. I am someone who doesn't shy away from a challenge. PS: Also fluent in Arabic
