About James

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from University of Ilorin, B.A Linguistics/Igbo from University of Lagos and a registered member of Teacher's Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). A Professional linguist and a native speaker from Abia state. Teaches Igbo language for all levels. I use different learning styles to reach the heart of my students. I teach both online and physical. I have been teaching Igbo language for eight years. I have helped over 200 students to obtain their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), over 50 families and individuals to learn Igbo language. I currently teach in a Nigerian/British curriculum school at the heart of Abuja. I am patient with my students. I teach with passion and zest. I use simple language and learning styles fitting to my students' needs. I use pictures and videos considering the different learning styles of my learners.

Perfect! I had my first lesson with James today and I have to say that I am very impressed with his teaching style. You can tell straight away that he is a professional. He is extremely attentive and was able to determine my current language proficiency level shortly after the start of our first lesson and create a suitable learning plan.

James managed to create a pleasant and motivating learning atmosphere. He focussed on my individual needs and learning goals, which made the lessons particularly effective. His methods are clearly structured and yet flexible enough to adapt to the learning progress.

I was particularly impressed by his ability to explain and illustrate content in a clear manner using practical examples. His patience and commitment are remarkable and contributed to my feeling of being in good hands.
