About Zack
I'm a professional music producer, songwriter and touring musician based in London.
I regularly write and produce with artists and songwriters in London and internationally, alongside producing and releasing my own music. My work has received support from BBC Introducing, Spotify, Apple Music and Finnish national radio.
I've worked with artists including Tally Spear, One Desire and Jonne Aaron, and as a touring musician I've performed professionally across the UK and Europe, including shows with Tom Jones and Tally Spear.
I teach because I know how easy it is to get stuck endlessly watching production tutorials without actually finishing music. I want to help artists and producers understand not just how the tools work, but how to make creative decisions that turn an idea into a finished record.
My main DAW is Ableton Live, and my background spans alternative rock, pop, indie and folk production.

My lessons are built around actually making music, rather than working through a rigid syllabus.
Whether you're completely new to production or already making music, we'll tailor the lessons to your level and goals. If you have a song, demo or project you're working on, bring it in and we'll use it to learn production, arrangement, recording, mixing and songwriting in the context of making real music.
I primarily work in Ableton Live, but the principles I teach apply across DAWs and I'm happy working with students using Logic or other software.
My aim is simple: spend less time watching tutorials and start making better music.
Finding the right person to learn from is personal, and I think it's important that you actually click with whoever you're working with. That's why I offer a free 20-minute initial call to understand your current level, what you want to achieve and how we should structure your lessons.
There's no pressure to book anything afterwards.
