About Ernesto

// Scroll down to see me play!// Teaching always has been something that came naturally to me. Guitar changed my life, I'm on a mission to show you how powerful and fun learning guitar can be. I’m a full-time professional musician and guitar teacher with over 15 years of experience instructing students worldwide in both English and Spanish. I’ve performed in more than 200 live shows and festivals, sharing the stage with bands such as Oasis, Buena Vista Social Club, and Franz Ferdinand. I have also won seven national contests in Spain and recorded two studio albums released by Universal Music. I studied jazz, swing, and contemporary music in Madrid, and I have been sponsored by the guitar brand Gibson. Specialising in heavy music, I have had the privilege of learning from esteemed teachers like John Browne and Olly Steele. Additionally, I have actively contributed to various cinema and short film projects as a classical music composer, collaborating with filmmakers and fellow composers

About the lesson

From brightening up a rainy Sunday to being on stage in front of thousands of people, each student's needs are different. We start with a free chat to get to know each other, discuss the music and bands you enjoy, and talk about your goals so we can tailor a personalised plan specifically for you. I will help you delve into the intricacies, details, and secrets of the style(s) you want to learn, understanding what works and why, making the most of your playing, and showing you the way to elevate your skills to a professional level using simple concepts and ideas that truly work

Perfect! I have learned so much from Ernesto since starting lessons only a few months ago. He has demystified so many guitar concepts and techniques. He has the best energy and teaches with such passion that I always come away feeling inspired and ready to pour what I’ve learned into my songwriting. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Im improving so fast after just few lessons, I feel motivated and excited. He is really patient and professional. He identified my strengths and correct my right hand position, and I can play much faster now.

I get a huge amount of my lessons with Ernesto. He choses bands that I love so I wanted to play them, and songs that would take me out of my comfort zone and teach me new skills. My playing is an insane amount better than when I started. Ernesto is great to work with - work with him.
