About Karun
I'm a multi-instrumentalist and music producer with over 8 years of professional experience.
I offer lessons in instrumental development on the guitar and keyboards. My expertise extends into the fields of composition, beat-making, sampling, music production, ghost production, mixing, arranging, recording, and a consultancy. If you would like lessons in any of these topics as well, please do get in touch.
Owing to a wide range of musical influences, my composition and production experience spans across genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop, RnB & Soul, Blues, Electronic Music, and Indian Folk Music but is not limited to just these. My music has been featured in internationally acclaimed platforms such as Rolling Stone India, Red Bull India, and Scoopwhoop. My work also traverses the realm of the music industry into visual media as musical scores and soundscapes for film, television, video games, web series' and other digital content.
As a guitarist and keyboardist, I have performed as part of numerous Indian and international acts including Karun Ramani Live (2017 - Present), Amrit Rao & The Madrascals (2016 - present), Kavita Thomas Live (2017), Blind Image (2014 - 2015), and The Martin Visser Jazz Quartet (2013).
I am interested in working with students from across the world who would like to improve their musical proficiency on their instrument. Whatever it is that you are looking to work on, I will ensure the workflow and communication is smooth.

I am a strong believer in musical education being made available to musicians of any level and background. An understanding of basic theory, harmony, ear training will create a strong foundation for you to begin working on the technical and instrument-specific tasks of your choice. In my lessons, we can work partly on strengthening your theoretical knowledge while simultaneously ensuring that you put the theory to use via practical exercises and jams. The key here is holistic development. Alternatively, if you have a clear picture of what you'd like to work on, we can zone in on that and extract as much from the topic as possible. These lessons will not only be vital to your musical development but will also enable you to enjoy music to a higher degree. This is my guarantee.
