About Edward

Hi, I'm Edward, a professional photographer, educator, and founder of WrightDesign75 Photography, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making photography education accessible to everyone. For years, I've worked with individuals, families, businesses, artists, and nonprofit organizations while teaching photography workshops that help students build practical skills and confidence behind the camera.

My experience includes portrait, event, and commercial photography, along with professional photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I've photographed major events and enjoy sharing the techniques and workflows I use in real-world assignments.

I'm passionate about helping people grow, whether you're purchasing your first camera, learning manual mode, improving your creative eye, or taking your photography to a professional level. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and hands-on, ensuring every lesson is personalized to your goals and learning pace.

I believe anyone can become a better photographer with the right guidance, consistent practice, and a supportive instructor. My goal is to help you develop the confidence and skills to create images you're proud of while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn photography is by using your camera—not just reading about it. Every lesson is tailored to your experience level and goals, whether you're picking up a camera for the first time, improving your composition and lighting, preparing for paid photography work, or learning to create better content for social media.

My lessons combine easy-to-understand instruction with hands-on practice. You'll learn camera settings, exposure, composition, lighting, posing, portrait and event photography, and professional editing using Photoshop. If you're interested, I also teach smartphone photography and introduce AI-powered editing tools that can speed up your workflow.

As the founder and lead instructor of a nonprofit photography organization, I have experience teaching students of all ages in both individual and group settings. My goal is to make photography enjoyable while helping you build confidence and develop skills you can immediately apply in real-world situations.

Lessons are available for beginners through advanced photographers and can be customized around your interests, whether that's portraits, landscapes, sports, events, travel, or building a photography business.
