About the lesson

Hi,
My name is Leah and I have a passion for art and photography and am dedicated to share this passion with others. Photography has always been a hobby for me growing up and I am now able to develop my skills into a professional career. My lessons are geared at students who have an interest for art, design and photography whether it's just a hobby or a potential career path. Art can be a relaxation for some, allowing them to really enjoy learning and not feel stressed or pressured. I am extremely patient and understand that we all learn at different paces.
My teaching method will be very similar as to how I first learnt Photography. My goal is to develop a new topic and challenge for each session. I will begin with the complete camera basics, then progressing towards using each different setting in manual models (Aperture, Shutterspeed and ISO) and how they all work together to create a correct exposure. Next moving onto the creativity and individuality within photography and understanding composition and creative techniques. I will endeavour to allow each session to be hands on and out and about. I will create mini challenges for my client to complete during the week, allowing them to expand their knowledge and skills. If there is a particular topic within photography (including Photoshop and Lightroom) you are just wanting to focus on I am required to know before hand for preparation. I have advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and will do sessions on these. You must require an adobe subscription and laptop for this. I will supply you with tutorials and additional skills after each session.

Equipment Required:
- DSLR Camera
- Memory Card
- Laptop (Optional)
- Photoshop or Lightroom Subscription (Optional)

I am also available during school holidays to complete sessions.
