I’ve been taking weekly Colombian Spanish lessons with Paula since around February, and I really couldn’t recommend her more! She always comes prepared with a thoughtful lesson, and we’ve been able to steadily progress and build on what we’ve learned over time.

I especially love that our lessons feel natural and personalized. We’ll often chat about my day or weekend, and Paula uses those conversations to pick up on areas where I could use more practice or clarification. She’s patient, encouraging, and makes learning Spanish feel really comfortable and fun. I’ve genuinely loved working with her and continue to meet with her weekly!

I first started a few months back with almost no Spanish. With Paula, she helped build a structure that helped me learn. I still have a long way to go, but I can use my Spanish now in some aspects of work (I never could do that before). She builds lessons that work with your daily life, etc.

Señora Garces has been an exceptional teacher who taught me Spanish from levels 1 through 5. Her dedication, patience, and passion for teaching made every class engaging and inspiring. Thanks to her support and effective methods, I not only improved my language skills but also really enjoyed the learning process. Paula is an amazing Spanish tutor and somehow manages to make learning a new language feel way less intimidating than it probably should. She’s patient, encouraging, funny, and has never once made me feel bad for absolutely butchering a perfectly innocent Spanish word.

She explains things in a way that actually makes sense, keeps lessons relaxed and fun, and somehow tricks you into learning while you’re busy laughing and having a good time.
