I can teach everything from audition technique to script analysis and character development, screen technique as well as stage craft and improvisation for comedy and drama.
In terms of actor methodology and technique, I have had a comprehensive education of all schools and techniques of actor training as well as
performance. My personal preference and in depth expertise comes from the techniques derived from Stanislavsky through to the American school of 'Method' acting and beyond to the 'Practical Aesthetics' of David Mamet ( taking none of them as gospel, but all as ideas and techniques to be used ). There are many roads to get to your destination.
I am an Acting graduate from NIDA ( National Institute of Dramatic Art ) 2002, and have taught theatre and acting in many capacities over the last 20 years. In the past I have tutored actors to successful auditions and entry into acting schools including NIDA. I have been a professional actor in film, theatre and television as well as a director and producer of theatre, which I continue to do with cross-genre national touring cabaret/variety theatre productions. I am also a professional magician, mentalist and illusionist and perform in this capacity almost every week of the year.
