I worked closely with Katherine over the space of two years from 2017-2019, though I have known her since 2014. I can confidently say that I know few people who unapologetically lend their skills to a job more than Katherine.

Katherine consistently holds herself to a high standard and she has been known to redefine standards within her workplace. In the job that we shared, material was given to us to teach the children (with some help on lesson structure). The way in which we delivered the material was for us to decide. This is truly where Katherine shines, she is able to take material and creatively construct innovative and practical ways for kids to learn, she is able to see that not everyone can learn the same way and she is always able to explain something in multiple ways, though you can guarantee - which ever way she teaches - it's
going to be captivating and approachable, and tailored to their age.

Another thing to note about Katherine is that she is remarkable at 'thinking on the spot'. There have been a number of occasions where issues arose outside of our control and Katherine was able to either circumvent the issue, or managed to make sure that - above all else - the children's needs were catered for and the energy/flow of the flow was maintained despite there being a problem.

Teaching alongside her was inspiring as her spirit is infectious, both for me as an employee, and the kids taking the class. This spirit flows over into her communication with the parents, she is able to give detailed feedback for each child and never fails to have the answer when a parent/guardian has concerns.

Katherine is a glorious drama teacher with bags of experience and enthusiasm! She is wonderful with children and having worked with her personally I have witnessed her superb and engaging skills. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dynamic drama teacher to inspire your child and build up confidence!
