About Joseph
I'm Joseph Raso, a professional Vocal Coach and Singing Teacher with over 14 years of experience helping students develop their voices and achieve their musical goals.
I hold a Master of Music in Voice from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, a Bachelor of Music from UNSW and an AMusA qualification. My professional background includes performing with Opera Australia, teaching voice at NIDA, the Sydney Conservatorium, and the Australian Performing Arts Grammar School. I
have undertaken advanced operatic training at the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival in Sicily.
My teaching approach combines a strong foundation in vocal technique with an individualised and supportive learning environment. I work with singers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to aspiring professionals, across classical, musical theatre, pop and contemporary styles. I'm passionate about helping students build vocal confidence, develop their unique sound and enjoy the process of singing. I also provide opportunities for students to perform in mid-year and end-of-year concerts.
