About Marc
I was fortunate to have many willing and knowledgeable mentors while working on my Bachelor of Science, Software Engineering degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a non-traditional student. Since graduating in 2008 I've always had work, and enjoyed working in a number of sectors and environments from financial technology with strict regulation, standards and oversight to small teams that require a "whole system" approach, and even a couple start-ups that require a 'make it work and ask questions later' attitude. I'm excited to pay the help and patience I received forward.

Let me be a"programming guide". My solid Python background (10+ years) and 16+ years of software engineering experience can be leveraged to get you started and answer general computing questions. I'm excited to work with 'never-ever' through advanced CS topics with a judgment-free, no question is too dumb type approach. If you want to learn how to program using Python, but find online videos overwhelming, tutorials aren't answering your questions, or you need help figuring out what to ask, I'd like to help.
