About Israel

Hola! I’m Izzy, and surfing has been my greatest passion since I was 4 years old, growing up along the beautiful coasts of Spain. The ocean has always been my playground, and over the years, I’ve turned my love for surfing into a way to inspire and teach others. For me, teaching surfing is like yoga – it’s calming, fulfilling, and brings joy to both my students and me. With decades of experience riding waves and 10+ years of professional coaching, I’ve had the privilege of working with surfers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re dipping your toes into the water for the first time or looking to perfect your cutbacks, I’m here to guide you with patience, expertise, and a whole lot of stoke.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered around creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where students can build confidence and improve their skills at their own pace. I use a hands-on approach, combining practical in-water training with essential theory about ocean safety, wave dynamics, and proper techniques. Each lesson is tailored to the individual’s skill level, ensuring beginners feel comfortable while challenging advanced surfers to refine their abilities. A typical lesson lasts 1.5, which includes a warm-up, land-based instruction, and plenty of time in the water. I focus on breaking down complex movements into simple, actionable steps, making it easy for students to progress quickly.

What a fantastic guy, worth every penny. We always felt safe in the water, groups are reduced and he is always helping, pushing, and ensuring we have fun and learn in the best possible way.
