About Priya
Hi! My name is Priya and I am a professional living and working in Canada. I spent the last 13 years traveling to different parts of the world and studying different cultures, cultural practices and languages; whether it be hands on or through lectures. My goal as a tutor is to create an environment where my students feel comfortable to learn and excited to attend. Learning and studying a new language can be intimidating and frustrating, trust me I have been there. Through individual lesson plans, my goal is to have my students feeling the best about what they have learnt.

The start of the lesson is to understand your knowledge of English. Through discussion, it is important, as a teacher, to learn what you are wanting to gain from this lesson. Are you new to English and want to enter into this market? Are you looking to build on your existing strengths? Did you want to learn the classics or are you looking to write an essay? From there, we build a lesson plan that is for the individual. This can range from a few pages of readings every night or creating practice thesis' on different topics.
